Technology Platform for the Planned Production Facility

The project is being developed around an automated production line based on ENKOTEC ENKOnail+ equipment. The technology uses a rotary nail-forming process and provides digital control of production operations. The final equipment model and line configuration will be determined once the project’s technical specifications have been approved.

Production capacity figures will be published once the specific line configuration has been selected.

Technology Platform

The project is based on a modular automated production line, with its configuration determined by the product range, required dimensions, production volumes, and packaging formats.

The preliminary line configuration may include:

Wire Payoff and Controlled Feeding

Preparation of the raw material and consistent feeding of wire into the production process.

Nail Forming

Wire straightening, cutting, pointing, and head formation using an ENKOnail+ machine.

Transfer Between Operations

Automated transfer of products to subsequent line modules.

Shank Profiling

Formation of ring-shank or screw-shank profiles using a separate ENKOroll module.

Surface Cleaning and Treatment

Cleaning and surface processing according to the requirements of each product type.

Counting and Packaging

Automated preparation of finished products for storage and shipment.

Digital Monitoring

Monitoring of equipment condition, process parameters, and detected deviations.

The final line configuration will be approved once the product matrix and technical manufacturing requirements have been agreed.

Planned Manufacturing Process

Once operations begin, production will follow a sequential automated process, with key product parameters monitored at critical stages.

Incoming Steel Wire Inspection

Verification of the raw material, accompanying documentation, and compliance with the production specification.

Wire Payoff and Feeding

Controlled feeding of steel wire from the coil into the production line.

Wire Straightening and Nail Forming

Straightening the wire, cutting it to length, and forming the nail point and head.

Shank Profiling

Formation of ring-shank or screw-shank profiles for the relevant product types.

Surface Treatment

Cleaning, polishing, or other treatment according to the approved product specification.

In-Process Inspection

Verification of dimensions, geometry, shank profile, and surface condition during production.

Packaging and Labelling

Product counting, packaging, and application of product type and batch information.

Warehousing and Shipment

Storage of finished batches and preparation for delivery to customers.

The sequence of individual operations may be adjusted once the final line configuration and product requirements have been approved.

What the Technology Is Intended to Deliver

The automated line is intended to provide the foundation for a controlled manufacturing process with less reliance on manual operations. Actual performance figures will be confirmed after equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.
